Arcoudi

500m.away from the hotel, there is the resort Arkoudi.

It's a very picturesque village combining sea and nice green.

It makes you feel as it you are on an island.

The name Arkoudi, comes from a shipwreck that happened some time in the long when the only survivor was an Italian sailor, named Arkoudios.

Arkoudios came on the shore where the area was uninhabited and built a small church honouring St.Nicholas, who is said to be protecting peole in the sea and which is still in a good condition and can be easily visited.
